Former Highland City Hall to get makeover
Highland city leaders will spend $72,000 to overhaul its empty, former City Hall and give the building a new lease on life. Council members voted last week to fund the renovations that will put the building in compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. That will allow the building to be used for range of community arts and recreation events.The building has been vacant for two years.The council will use money from its general fund and a $33,000 capital improvement account to fund the renovation.
