There are approximately 38 events already on the calendar with more groups showing interest the Utah Valley Convention Center due for a public grand opening on May 12th. There are two walls of glass where you can see Timpanogos on the north and the Wasatch to the east, which is sure to be a selling point, according to general manager, Danny Wheeler.The building has 19,620 square feet of flexible exhibit hall space. It will have a 40-foot ceiling at it highest and 32 feet at its lowest. The main floor also will house the Convention and Visitors Bureau's Visitor Center and other offices.
The second floor boasts nearly 19,000 square feet of flexible ballroom space that can accommodate up to 1,240 in a banquet setting. It is the largest ballroom facility in Utah County. The third floor offers 10,000 square feet of meeting rooms and an executive board room. Daily Herald
