If it seems like Deer Valley has a lot of staff, it's because it does

Deer Valley Resort in 2011 was the largest employer within the Park City limits, more than doubling the work force of the No. 2 finisher, a City Hall tally shows.

The figures were released as part of the municipal government's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, a document that provides a detailed look at City Hall's financial situation. City Hall officials contacted the employers themselves to confirm the numbers.

According to the report, Deer Valley in 2011 employed a maximum of 2,600 people. The number dropped to 750 employees at the lowest level, the report said, also the highest figure. Park Record
